February Fun

Just some random shots of the kinds of fun we have around here ...
We are WAY into making forts right now. We even built a train track that went through the fort. Awesome!

We LOVE nights when Daddy is home. :)

That picture reminded me of this one ... my how they have grown. :)

Popcorn! Jane would not let the bowl off her lap. Goofy girl.

Jane is WAY into her tea set. She walks around with it most of the day, every day. Sometimes she will even share. ;)

Anyone for a snow bowl?

We enjoyed some huckleberry snow bowls after a day of playing in the snow. Yum!

Winter Wonderland

Winter has finally arrived and we couldn't be happier! We have just under a foot and it is still coming down. It must be really bad out there because even Joshua got a snow day ... hooray!

We took a walk over to the Mason's house. Look at our street!

Janie loved sledding down the driveway with Marisa.
Matthew and Chandler did some snowboarding.

Jane did many a face plant in the snow. She looks unhappy in the picture, but she actually enjoyed this position. She thought it was fun to punch her arm down into the snow.

Matthew discovered that he enjoys freshly made snowflakes as a snack.
Joshua showed Matthew how to make a snow angel.
We are warming up with lunch and a nap and then headed out to complete the igloo!

Hello 2012!

Here are some of our last moments in 2011 and first in 2012 ...
Matthew enjoyed reading his new Gingerbread book from Auntie Jac.

Jane kept her baby warm in a blanket and learned to say "shoooooooo" while putting on Matt's boots.

The Muellers came over for dinner. Sweet cousins in their jammies!

Jane discovered that she can push the step ladder around the kitchen to access new areas of fun.

Chef Jane. She can make a great cup of pretend tea!

One last picture before the tree came down.

Magum sent a special delivery of gingerbread cookies (no naughty boys included).

Let it snow!

We finally got some snow around here!

The children are loving it. Jane put on her boots and stood at the door saying "noooooo" (snow).
Marisa came over and they made a fabulous snowman!

Here is a quick recap of our December:
I crocheted a bunch of things, like the hats Jane likes to pull out of the drawer and try on randomly.

Magum came to play.
We made gingerbread circle cookies. Matthew did NOT want to make gingerbread boys because "those guys are too naughty."

These two look like they were plotting some serious crafting fun ...
Princess Jane making a mess and having a blast doing so.

Sleepyhead trying to take in all the gifts under the tree.

Sniffing the gingerbread candle from Auntie Jac.

Christmas cutie!

The girls.

Merry Christmas!

We have had a truly blessed Christmas this year. We started off with a fast but fabulous visit with Magum! She and Matthew spent the days doing crafts and we all enjoyed our time together.

Christmas Eve we got all dolled up for church and a family party. How adorable are my children?!
Christmas Eve cousins!

One Grandpa sent "thousands" (according to Matthew) of presents. As you can see, the kiddos love them!

Remote control tractor! Yessss!!!!

Christmas morning we had breakfast (and more presents!) with Grandma and Grandpa and the Muellers.

Check out our cute shirts!
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.
