December

Here is a quick recap of our December:
I crocheted a bunch of things, like the hats Jane likes to pull out of the drawer and try on randomly.

Magum came to play.
We made gingerbread circle cookies. Matthew did NOT want to make gingerbread boys because "those guys are too naughty."

These two look like they were plotting some serious crafting fun ...
Princess Jane making a mess and having a blast doing so.

Sleepyhead trying to take in all the gifts under the tree.

Sniffing the gingerbread candle from Auntie Jac.

Christmas cutie!

The girls.

Merry Christmas!

We have had a truly blessed Christmas this year. We started off with a fast but fabulous visit with Magum! She and Matthew spent the days doing crafts and we all enjoyed our time together.

Christmas Eve we got all dolled up for church and a family party. How adorable are my children?!
Christmas Eve cousins!

One Grandpa sent "thousands" (according to Matthew) of presents. As you can see, the kiddos love them!

Remote control tractor! Yessss!!!!

Christmas morning we had breakfast (and more presents!) with Grandma and Grandpa and the Muellers.

Check out our cute shirts!
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.

One Berry Two Berry ...

Pick me a blueberry!
We met some friends for blueberry picking. Matthew instructed everyone he crossed paths with not to pick the green ones- they aren't ripe yet.
Jane looks miserable, but really, she had a great time riding along with Daddy.

Pouring our berries in to be sorted.

No green ones!
Now to decide what to make ... blueberry cobbler, dried blueberries, blueberry pancakes ...

Happy Birthday Janie!

Our deer has dreads and other randomness.

Right here folks ... the most beautiful girl in the world!

Jane is obsessed with putting things on like a bracelet. She got Matthew to join in her fun.

It's kinda hard to see, but this deer has braids down the sides of his head. Dreads?!
My cute family loves to read.

Feeding the little ones

Matthew wakes up most mornings and asks if it is the weekend. Why? Because Daddy makes waffles on the weekend! And does he ever have it down to a science. These are the most delicious and the healthiest you will ever eat. Last weekend's included banana, flax seed, applesauce, freshly ground wheat berries and oat groats. Yummy!

Jane can't wait to try some of the waffles we all love so much. She climbs that ladder by herself and helps herself to whatever she can find.

The find of the day: Matthew's water.

Our Adventure Day

This weekend we decided to have an adventure. Joshua finished summer school and the sun decided to make a (brief) appearance. First stop: picking organic raspberries.

Next stop: Remlinger Farms.

We got to ride a train!

Matthew drove a school bus ...

and a car. Awesome!

We attempted to cool off while watching a stage show. Look at my babies' red cheeks! 84 degrees is too hot for us I guess.

Rollin' on a river

and flying in a pumpkin.

Matthew even got to ride a real live pony. His name was Kale. :)
What a lovely weekend.
