One Berry Two Berry ...
Pick me a blueberry!
We met some friends for blueberry picking. Matthew instructed everyone he crossed paths with not to pick the green ones- they aren't ripe yet.
Jane looks miserable, but really, she had a great time riding along with Daddy.
Pouring our berries in to be sorted.
No green ones!
Now to decide what to make ... blueberry cobbler, dried blueberries, blueberry pancakes ...

Feeding the little ones
Matthew wakes up most mornings and asks if it is the weekend. Why? Because Daddy makes waffles on the weekend! And does he ever have it down to a science. These are the most delicious and the healthiest you will ever eat. Last weekend's included banana, flax seed, applesauce, freshly ground wheat berries and oat groats. Yummy!
Jane can't wait to try some of the waffles we all love so much. She climbs that ladder by herself and helps herself to whatever she can find.

The find of the day: Matthew's water.

Our Adventure Day
This weekend we decided to have an adventure. Joshua finished summer school and the sun decided to make a (brief) appearance. First stop: picking organic raspberries.
Next stop: Remlinger Farms.
We got to ride a train!
Matthew drove a school bus ...
and a car. Awesome!
We attempted to cool off while watching a stage show. Look at my babies' red cheeks! 84 degrees is too hot for us I guess.
Rollin' on a river
and flying in a pumpkin.

Matthew even got to ride a real live pony. His name was Kale. :)
What a lovely weekend.

Indoor Summer
So this has not been the best summer, weather-wise. We have had to find ways to pass the time indoors. We made play-doh and Matthew designed a birthday cake.
Ta dah!
Is the sun out yet?
Jane has decided that food isn't so bad after all. Some of her favorites are apricots, broccoli, and yams.
Baby food is for babies. Give me the whole thing!
Jane wants to play whatever Matthew is playing at the moment. They often play trains and grocery store. I love watching them form a friendship!
I love this face!
I love this face too!
