NC Vacation Take 5

More swimming.

Two in the hole.

These two babies spent much time together on the floor of the kitchen while the mommies were cooking and cleaning.

The only picture of all four of us. Sigh. I have got to get better at bringing out the camera!

The boys in the pool.
The boys on the bike.

The whole gang.
What a great time with great friends! We are all looking forward to the next trip.

NC Vacation Take 4

Matthew was the lone boy of all eight children. He found some creative ways to pass the time. Here he is driving his bus with a passenger in the back. :)

Getting ready for a bike ride.

And they're off!

Must have been an exhausting ride!

Splashing around.

Making a puffer fish face ...

NC Vacation Take 2

Our super cool dude. This was his favorite part of the beach - sitting on the towel.
Jane had a much more hands-on approach.

Daddy daughter time.

Sitting in a hole.

Peek-a-boo!

A whole lotta hole.

Fun in the sun!

NC Vacation Take 1

We met up with three other couples and their children at a fabulous beach house in North Carolina. Janie girl loved driving her boat in the pool.

Matthew tamed the sea beast.

Jane diggin' the sand.

Treasures!

Matthew preferred the pool and discovered that he could swim all by himself (with a life vest and ring.)

Marbles Museum

We arrived bright and early in Raleigh after our red-eye flight and hit the ground running. The Sant'Agatas took us to a fabulous children's museum called Marbles. The kiddos all had a blast. Camden and Jane became fast friends over lunch.

Matthew learned to captain a boat.

And enjoyed playing on a "mahanic." (You know, like a mechanic's hammock... I guess.)

Our brave boy (the one who cries every time he has his hair washed) standing in a cage on the second floor.

The girls danced to music from around the world.

Matthew climbed a mountain with a little help from his dad.
What a great start to our East Coast adventures!

Layover at LAX

On our way to North Carolina we had a four hour layover at LAX. Lucky us! Lots of our family got to meet up and have dinner with us. It is such a joy to see these two cousins together. :)

Magum/Grammama reading The Gingerbread Man with her boys.

Sisters!

Uncle Gary and little Miss Jane.

Family fun!

Janie and Caleb bonding.

The ladies.

Somehow I missed a picture of my Aunt Stella and Aunt Beth who also joined in the fun. It was so wonderful to see you all! Hopefully next time visiting you will be our final destination.
