Joshua and Six the cat have been in Washington state for three days nows. Meanwhile, I'm still in stinkin' hot California missing them! Why didn't I quit my job sooner? Oh yeah, it's parent conference week. It's the least I can do to stay and finish the week.
Speaking of school, I told my little ones that I would not be their teacher for the rest of the year. After about two seconds of "oohh!"s, we moved on with our day and not another word about it! Great. Glad to know I'll be missed.
Joshua and Six, I want you to know that you are greatly missed! I can't wait to join you on our new adventure.

Wasn't Joshua allergic to cats? How did you swing that Erin? I'm sure it is awful being separated. I always hate it when Mike is out of town. But, i guess you are the one misplaced as you are without a husband, cat, and home.
It's not too much longer now, is it? It would be hard to live apart - Jay and I were thinking about doing that so I could stay in CA and sell the house. That would have been awful - over 8 months apart! (Though I'm sure we wouldn't have let it go that long, i would have moved out here I'm sure!) Anyways, hang in there!!!
I feel your pain, Erin. Being without Tommy for over four weeks was bad! Just think of the fun you'll have at the reunion...
